The Apprentice, X Factor, Britain’s Next Top Model

These shows are X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, The Apprentice and Britain’s Next Top Model.

Big news this week for TV makers and gmbo.tv clients . . .

The inevitable has finally happened. The government has agreed to legalise Product Placement in TV in the UK to help ease the pockets of TV channels and Production Companies.

This means that all the TV people who use this site will be needing to use it more. It means the TV shows that are currently searching for brands to use on this site, including THE X FACTOR, THE APPRENTICE and BRITAIN’S NEXT TOP MODEL will be able to give you something back for your help.

Also, for brands who have cash to splash, just as in America, brands will be able to pay to feature in UK TV shows.

As of this week getmybusinesson.tv will be stepping up their game to help suppliers contact the TV makers that need them. Contact us here if you’re interested in Product Placing in a TV show. We are still the only company with over 3 thousand TV users and a finger on the pulse of what’s hot in the industry.

COOL JOB / CRAP JOB . . .

Guest Blogger: Rob Pearson, Assistant Producer, Britain’s Next Top Model

COOL JOB:

I love the show… yes I would say I’m a massive fan. I think I nearly lost out on the job because the Executive thought I might be a super fan who slipped through the net and scored an interview.

It’s a creatively challenging show. There is a format but it’s you that need to bring the ideas… and the Executives love hearing them all.

All my straight male friends are super jealous that I get to live with 15 hot girls and my gay male friends are super jealous that I get to work on the campest show going!

As the Overseas Assistant Producer I had the chance of a lifetime and moved to Argentina to put together 3 episodes! First one goes out June 22nd 9pm on Living!

The team are amazing and so supportive. Thumbs Up Production care about their staff and are keen to teach them new things. I was given the opportunity to floor manage the studio eliminations in Argentina. They also gave me my first AP credit!

CRAP JOB:

For every idea that is used, you disregard a million others!

Living in the house means the drama is full on.

Eating sandwiches whilst on a 4 day shoot and getting bloated. I call it Shoot Belly. I do try to stick to salads but I always fail

Being a modelling show, everyone looks hot all the time but you tend to look knackered.

As sad as this might sound, it’s actually very hard to see a different girl being eliminated at the end of each shoot. .
