Hob Salons kindly provided their services to the new Sky 1 HD show Pineapple Dance Studios, produced by Pulse Films. The salon were filming cutting the hair of ‘Starman‘ band front man Andrew Stone, one of the main characters of the series which will start to air on Sunday 14th February. The filming took place last week at their salon in Camden.
Andrew and the TV team were very pleased with the results and the very accommodating nature of the guys at Hob.

Laura Marling is the hot new thing is the music world and thanks to gmbo one of our lovely make up girls Sam Cooper got to be her number one Make Up Artist for her most recent video shoot, on a very cold beach in Brighton last weekend.
The Producer at Pulse Films tells me Sam did a fantastic job. Nice one Sam!

It was raining hard, it took place in a cold forest, it was a long day . . . but Fashion Stylists Natalie Hubbard and Alexis Knox and Make Up Artist Tricia Woolston were troopers during the filming of a new music video for indie group BANG BANGS.
Their Groovy new hair do’s were supplied by Hob Salons who last week were once again crowed Hair Dressers of the year – congratulations Hob. We love your cool cuts!

Proud Camden were used as a filming location for a band showcase in a 7 part series which takes a look behind the scenes of Pineapple dance studios in Covent Garden. The band striving for success are called Starman – one of the main stories within the series.
Pineapple Studios is due to air on 7th Feb on Sky One and Sky Three.
Lola and Loise will be parading around Regents Park tomorrow Sunday 13th September hoping to bag a ‘Pet Personality’ award. They’re up against stiff competition from the likes of Cheryl Cole’s dogs but we happen to know that Lola sleeps in a 4 poster bed of swarovski crystals and has her own wardrobe – gmbo.tv thinks they may be in with a chance. Afterall with a business name like ‘Diva Dogs‘ surely you’re half way there?
Thanks to all the media hype surrounding the event this week, the expectant couple even managed to reel in a full page spread in the Daily Mirror.
