Award winning HOB Salons’ receptionist, Katie Waissel, auditioned on the X Factor on Saturday 21st August and managed to divide the judges opinions about getting through to bootcamp.
Cheryl Cole said yes, Louis Walsh said no and Simon Cowell was unsure at first but decided to put her through in the end.

We couldn’t reveal the name of the show last month when we told you that GMBO’s very own Louise and Lola (Diva Dogs) were being filmed. Just that it was for a prime-time ob-doc.
This month, we have a little more news and can reveal they’ll be just two of the stars in a brand new series recently announced by Sky 1 HD and Sky 1. It will be a behind the scenes look at the world of dogs, dog-lovers and grooming parlours. These will be no ordinary dogs though as they’ll be able to talk! Watch this space….
Last month we told you GMBO fave, Black Lad, was being filmed for a prime-time new documentary series.
We now have more information about the show and are thrilled to reveal that thanks to GMBO, Black Lad is going to be starring in a brand new Sky 1 and Sky 1 HD commission which will air this Winter 2010/2011. The show will be an insight into the world of British entertainment and will also feature some very familiar faces from Pineapple Dance Studios.
The new series will be made by Pulse Films.
You’ll probably remember just how much we adore Black Lad here at GMBO.TV — who could not love him and his Moonwalking ways…. he was quite possibly our fave discovery in 2009!
Exciting news has reached us this week that Black Lad will be making a welcome return to the screen in 2010/2011 as he and owners Rachael and Patsy Grylls (of The Rexon Performing Ponies) are currently being filmed for a new 14-part observational documentary series.
Let’s hope they’ve not gone GaGa learning their new routine!
GMBO’s very own Diva Dogs and Founder, Louise are currently undertaking filming for an exciting new 8-part documentary series. We always said Louise was TV Gold.

Hob Salons kindly provided their services to the new Sky 1 HD show Pineapple Dance Studios, produced by Pulse Films. The salon were filming cutting the hair of ‘Starman‘ band front man Andrew Stone, one of the main characters of the series which will start to air on Sunday 14th February. The filming took place last week at their salon in Camden.
Andrew and the TV team were very pleased with the results and the very accommodating nature of the guys at Hob.

Laura Marling is the hot new thing is the music world and thanks to gmbo one of our lovely make up girls Sam Cooper got to be her number one Make Up Artist for her most recent video shoot, on a very cold beach in Brighton last weekend.
The Producer at Pulse Films tells me Sam did a fantastic job. Nice one Sam!
